NETHERLANDS – Trouw Nutrition and AgroCares have reaffirmed their commitment to driving innovation in the animal feed industry by renewing their partnership, which centers on mobile Near InfraRed (NIR) feed testing technology.

First established in 2018, this collaboration leverages Trouw Nutrition’s vast nutrient database and expertise in species-specific nutrition, combined with AgroCares’ portable NIR scanner technology, to deliver real-time nutritional insights to farms and feed mills worldwide.

At the core of their collaboration is the NutriOpt On-Site Adviser, a user-friendly mobile platform designed to offer rapid and reliable data that supports crucial nutrient decisions.

By utilizing Trouw Nutrition’s comprehensive knowledge of swine, ruminants, and poultry nutrition, farmers and feed producers can assess raw ingredients and finished feed in less than five minutes.

This cutting-edge technology allows users to optimize feed profiles, boosting operational efficiency and sustainability.

According to Casper Niesink, Director of Global Solutions and Services at Trouw Nutrition, the partnership has already proven significant success.

Our collaboration with AgroCares has been instrumental in delivering the precision and reliability that our customers expect. The renewed agreement allows us to continue driving innovation in feed management while maintaining our commitment to environmental sustainability,” he said. “With our species-specific nutrient expertise and AgroCares’ advanced technology, we are set to elevate precision nutrition further.

The continued partnership between Trouw Nutrition and AgroCares underscores a mutual dedication to providing farmers and feed professionals with accessible and practical tools.

Henri Hekman, CEO of AgroCares, emphasized the importance of pairing their technological advancements with Trouw Nutrition’s industry expertise.

Together, we are making precision farming accessible and easy for farmers worldwide, helping them to tackle the challenges of modern animal production,” Hekman noted. “Our mission is to enable precision nutrition through innovative yet user-friendly tools, and this renewed partnership positions us to expand our impact.”

Looking to the future, Trouw Nutrition and AgroCares plan to introduce their mobile NIR technology to new markets and continue enhancing the NutriOpt On-Site Adviser.
