USA – Agilent Technologies, an American multinational laboratory instrumentation company, has signed a reseller agreement with EquipNet, a leader in surplus asset management.
This agreement will support the sale of select certified pre-owned instruments, providing a new level of value and assurance to EquipNet’s growing marketplace.
“Collaborating with Agilent allows us to deliver the best of both worlds—affordable, pre-owned laboratory equipment, coupled with the assurance of an OEM warranty,” said Greg Feinberg, Managing Director of Biotech Business Development at EquipNet.
“This reseller agreement demonstrates our commitment to enhancing the buyer’s experience and expanding our offerings to meet the growing demands of the scientific and industrial markets.”
EquipNet will now be able to serve a crucial segment of the market that seeks high-quality pre-owned equipment backed by a trusted Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty.
Moreover, Agilent has boosted its LSAG segment with the launch of the Agilent InfinityLab Liquid Chromatography (LC) Series portfolio, comprising the 1290 Infinity III LC, 1260 Infinity III Prime LC and 1260 Infinity III LC systems.
Agilent InfinityLab LC Series’ built-in sample tracking feature, which uses barcoding and camera technologies, ensures that sample mix-ups are avoided, providing users with maximum efficiency.
It supports analysts of all skill levels by automating instrument routines, simplifying sample preparation, assisting with maintenance and troubleshooting, and providing context-sensitive help content and solvent management guidance.
These features will transform the user experience by eliminating repetitive and error-prone manual tasks, reducing the time required for training and onboarding, and delivering greater robustness and instrument insights that strengthen confidence in the results.
Additionally, the instruments in the new Infinity III LC Series feature method compatibility with earlier LC systems and seamless chromatography data systems (CDS) integration.
The new systems feature third-party verification by My Green Lab’s revised ACT 2.0 Ecolabel, a global standard for assessing the environmental impact of laboratory equipment and supplies.
They will also be the first LC systems to provide their CO2 footprint to customers, demonstrating Agilent’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
It is also noteworthy that all new features are available as upgrades to the existing Infinity II LC Series, representing an outstanding level of investment protection.
At the end of July, Agilent also expanded its capabilities by acquisition of Sigsense, a company offering an AI-enabled monitoring system for lab instruments.
